【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofcertainshockattenuatingcharacteristics,rapidrateforce-displacementrelationships,ofmaterialssystemsemployedinthemidsoleofathleticfootwearintendedforuseinnormalrunningmovements.Thistestmethodcoversthreedifferentproceduresforperformanceoftherapidrateforceapplication:ProcedureAforfallingweightimpactmachines,ProcedureBforcompressionforcecontrolledmachines,andProcedureCforcompressiondisplacementcontrolledmachines.Thematerialsystemresponseforrapidrateforceapplicationmaybedifferentforeachofthethreeproceduresofthistestmethod.Thistestmethodisempiricallybasedontheuseofan8.5-kgmassdroppedfrom50mm(1.97in.)togeneratepeakcompressiveforceswhicharecomparabletothatexperiencedbyamidsoleinheelstriketestsfornormalrunningmovement.Thisrequiresthespecimentoberigidlysupportedandtheenergytobedeliveredthrougha45-mm(1.8-in.)diameterflattup.Thistestmethodimposesanimpulsetogeneratearapidratecompressiveforce-displacementhysteresiscycleandevaluatesshockattenuatingcharacteristicsofthespecimen.Themaximumenergyappliedtothespecimenoccursatpeakdisplacementandmustbewithin10%ofareferencevaluethatisusedtonormalizethedataforcomparativepurposes.
