【摘要】:Thisguideisintendedtoassistdesignengineers,manufacturing/industrialengineers,andproductionmanagersinselectingthebestfitcleaningagentandprocess.Thisguidetakesintoaccountenvironmentalpollutionpreventionfactorsinaselectionprocess.Thisguideisnottobeconsideredasadatabaseofacceptablematerials.Itwillguidetheengineersandmanagersthroughthecleaningmaterialselectionprocess,callingforengineerstocustomizetheirselectionbasedonthecleaningrequirementsforthecleaningtasksathand.Ifapartcanbecleaned,andkeptclean,itcanbecycledthroughseveralprocessstepsthathavecleaningrequirements.Thiseliminatesextracleaningprocessstepsduringthetotalprocess.Atotallifecyclecostanalysisorperformance/costofownershipstudyisrecommendedtocomparethemethodsavailable.Thisguideisforgeneralindustrymanufacturing,equipmentmaintenanceandremanufacturingoperations,andtosomeextentprecisioncleaningofmechanicalpartsandassemblies.Itisnotintendedtobeusedforoptical,medical,orelectronicsapplications,norisitintendedfordry-cleaningorsuper-criticalfluidcleaning.
